Broadcom 802.11ac Network Adapter Driver for Apple Inc. - MacBookPro12,1 working on Microsoft Windows 8.1 Pro. Device Name: Broadcom 802.11ac Network Adapter. I uninstalled the Dell drivers and while I was updating to Windows 8.1 (using a separate USB wireless adapter I had purchased) it seems that Windows 8.1 found and installed working drivers for broadcom 802.11ac adapter that came with my alienware.
Hi there, I need help updating/using an older version for my Broadcom 802.11ac Network Adapter. My laptop is an Alienware 17 on Win 10 x64.
I cannot rollback or have any restore points. I cannot find any updates as it tells me I have the best and latest driver already. I have tried uninstalling then installing a recommended driver from Dell after I let it recognise my system but it gave me the same message about having the latest and best one already installed just after I uninstalled the previous one (makes no sense to me). After a lot of googling and finding no answers about what one to download, I still don't know if the one I tried was even compatible with my Broadcom 802.11ac. I was told that Dell should have one but I couldn't find it. Any help is appreciated. EDIT: Can I just buy a wireless network usb adapter and be done with this? I can just switch to it when I need to download something. I'm probably coming across impatient but I really need this solved soon. :/
The driver is Broadcom 802.11ac. The update does not even allow me to connect to the internet because the device cannot start (Code 10). I can't find any new drivers from ASUS nor Broadcom because the device is plug-and-play into PCIE slot. Broadcom 802.11 Network Adapter is a program developed by Broadcom. The most used version is 6.30.223.234, with over 35% of all installations currently using this version. The main program executable is bcmwlu00.exe. Install Broadcom ASUS 802.11ac Network Adapter driver for Windows 10 x64, or download DriverPack Solution software for automatic driver installation and update.
